Webinar on LGBTQIASB+ Healthcare Earns CPD Accreditation

The webinar is now registered for CPD points.

The AMA is joining with LGBTIQ+ Health Australia (LHA) to hold a webinar, as part of the LHA 'In Conversation' series, discussing the provision of inclusive healthcare for LGBTQIASB+ patients.

The webinar will be a panel discussion moderated by Terence Humphreys who is the mental health and suicide prevention director at LHA. Terence joined LGBTIQ+ Health Australia in 2024 as Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Director, bringing over 16 years' experience delivering and managing programs and services in the not-for-profit sector, specialising in mental health, youth, and capacity building.

Terence is passionate about creating inclusive, effective, and compassionate support systems by championing intersectional diversity and enhancing the capacity of the mental health and suicide prevention sectors.

The panel of knowledgeable practitioners includes: Dr Danielle Stefanski, Infectious Diseases Specialist; Dr Elise Witter, Doctor-in-Training; Dr Tom Dickson, GP specialising in inclusive healthcare for the LGBTIQ+ community, and; AMA President Dr Danielle McMullen.

The webinar is registered for CPD points, and certification will be provided post-attendance.
