We will be rolling out our weed management program from 17 May to 14 June 2021. The program aims to control weeds in grassed areas across some of our parks, gardens and sportsgrounds with selected herbicides.
With the program, we plan to:
- improve the appearance of our parks and green spaces
- reduce the spread of weed seeds
- improve the appearance of our parks and green spaces
- improve the health and quality of turf.
Signage will be clearly displayed in the parks showing:
- the days spraying is planned to take place
- spraying is currently taking place
- that spraying has taken place and is now complete.
