ELECTON PERIOD
The 2024 Council Election will be held by mail, with ballot packs being mailed out from Monday 7 October.
Completed ballots must be posted by 6pm, Friday 25 October. Voting is compulsory.
We entered Election Period from 12noon, Tuesday 17 September. The Election Period ends on Saturday 26 October.
During this period, it will be 'business as usual', however, to comply with our Election Period Policy and the Local Government Act 2020, there are restrictions on the kinds of decisions that can be made, and the information that we can communicate to the public.
