- Waste collection moves forward one day to avoid Christmas Day and New Year's Day, so Wednesdays to Thursdays and Thursdays to Fridays.
- Talbot and Dunolly transfer stations (normally open on Wednesdays) will be closed for Christmas and New Year's days. Carisbrook is not open Wednesdays. Bealiba will close on Boxing Day, and open instead on Friday 27 December.
- Visitor Centre at Maryborough Railway Station – closed Christmas Day only
- Central Goldfields Art Gallery will close from Sunday 22 December and reopen Thursday 2 January

ROADSIDE SLASHING
Our Operations team maintains enough roads to stretch from Maryborough, Victoria to Brisbane in Queensland. Our slashing program follows a systematic plan with support from contractors.
As wet weather passes, all crews ramp back up to full steam. Good progress has been made across Talbot, Lillicur, Bung Bong, Mount Glasgow, Dunach and Majorca. These are the green markings on the map (below).
The yellow markings are to be slashed three metres either side, while the blue markings indicate "fire break" slashing, from fence line to fence line, as recommended by the CFA and Forest Fire Management Victoria.
We'll keep you up to date as works progress.

- Pneumococcal (pneumococcal pneumonia) – free over 70 and additional doses for lung conditions
- Boostrix (whooping cough, diphtheria and tetanus) - $40
- RSV will be available free mid next year.
