Council will undertake additional maintenance works at the Werralong Road causeway from Monday 12 May to Wednesday 14 May 2025, weather permitting.
This essential maintenance will be concentrated on the causeway itself and the 10 metre section either side of the crossing. The removal of silt and sediment will lower the water level at the causeway and improve water flow in Werralong Creek.
The works commencing on Monday 12 May will build on repairs to the junction of the causeway and road surface completed earlier in the year, following a condition assessment undertaken by Council in January 2025.
Once complete, driving conditions and road access will be further improved.

Be alert for workers on foot and plant machinery operating on-site. Drive to the conditions and follow the direction of roadworks signage and traffic control staff.
