West Melbourne Suspicious Fire

Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for assistance from the public following a suspicious fire in West Melbourne last month.

Investigators have been told the tyres of a cement truck were set alight at a business on Dyson Street, West Melbourne about 8pm on 19 August.

Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished with the cement truck being the only vehicle damaged.

A man was seen at the premises before the fire and investigators have released CCTV and images of a man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquires.
