West Perth Fatal Crash - Information Sought

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking the public's assistance for information relating to a fatal crash they are investigating that occurred in West Perth on Saturday, 1 February 2025.

About 3:50pm, a black Hyundai Kona station wagon travelling south, and a cyclist travelling north, both on Fitzgerald Street, collided near Randell Street in West Perth.

The 31-year-old male cyclist sustained critical injuries in the crash and he was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital where he died a short time later.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 21-year-old woman, was not injured.

Major Crash investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash, or saw the Hyundai Kona or the cyclist travelling in the area prior to the crash, or who has any information relating to this crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au .
