Major Crash Investigation Section is seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Westdale, south-east of Perth, on Monday 17 February 2020.
About 9:40am a red Mazda Tribute SUV/wagon was being driven on Brookton Highway. About 400m west of the intersection of Pike Road the vehicle left the road and struck a concrete culvert under a side access road, causing the vehicle to spin out of control.
The driver, a 73-year-old man from Hyden, was flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue helicopter, where he died the following day.
