Western Australia Covid update as 21 July

WA Health is reporting a total of 751 new cases in the past week to 4pm yesterday (20/07/2023). As of 4pm yesterday, there were 444 active cases in Western Australia.

As at 4pm yesterday, there were a total of 104 people with COVID-19 in hospital, with 3 in ICU.

Sadly, this week's report to 4pm yesterday includes 4 deaths, dating back to 04 July 2023, which were reported to WA Health in the last week, aged from 81 to 93 years.

Total PCR tests for the timeframe were 4,834.

Total positive PCR tests for the timeframe were 173. Total positive rapid antigen tests (RATs) in this period were 578.

WA has recorded 1,349,528 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Anyone experiencing symptoms is strongly encouraged to stay home if they're unwell, and until symptoms have resolved.
