3. LIVE AT THE URI, ADELAIDE HILLS, 7-28 JULY
Pull up a seat by the fire, crack open a red and settle in to the sounds of some incredible local artists at the Uraidla Pub. Live at the Uri will warm up Sunday afternoons throughout July with a line-up of impressive performers in one of the cosiest venues. The quirky Adelaide Hills pub in the lush surrounds of Uraidla is extra-cosy come winter, when a wood fireplace warms the bar area and makes for the perfect venue to ward of the winter chill. Be sure to stay on for dinner before kicking back for the night by the fire.
4. Whiskey Mojo, Adelaide, 25 July
Celebrate Rye July with multi-award-winning Blues singer-song writer Cal Williams Jr at one of Adelaide's most popular venues, Hains & Co. The perfect way to spend a winter's eve, warm up with a whisky while drinking in this powerful performance as Cal combines gentle fingerpicking with impressive vocals.
5. BLUES IN THE BREWERY – THE NEW SAVAGES, EYRE PENINSULA, 20 JULY
Grab a cold one (or two) and settle in at Port Lincoln's Beer Garden Brewing for a night of blues and brews. Inspired by the original blues musicians of the Mississippi, Melbourne's The New Savages will take over the popular Eyre Peninsula watering hole for one night only to perform music from their new album. Be mesmerized by lead singer Milan Milutinovic's striking baritone vocals while sampling locally brewed beers produced using ingredients sourced from the Eyre Peninsula. Cheers!
