The What Women Want survey, proudly run by your union since 2006, is now open.
It is one of Australia's largest surveys of working women and is invaluable in helping the CPSU understanding what issues affect you at work and what we can do about them together.
Participation is vital
The information we've gathered from the previous 11 surveys has helped us protect and improve crucial rights and conditions in your workplaces. For example, participants in earlier surveys told us how much flexibility and working hours matter. This data informed our advocacy and helped us win significant improvements on issues including working from home, workplace flexibility, superannuation, and enhanced parental leave, in enterprise bargaining.
What matters to you?
Women have told us that their work matters to them, that flexibility is important and that they want to be valued. They are also telling us that they are working longer hours, that it is getting harder to balance work with life and family, and that they are dissatisfied with how workplaces respond to sexual harassment. We encourage you to share your experiences and perspectives.
