'Whitlam's Tim Freedman to perform in Wyndham'

Tim Freedman is performing at Wyndham Cultural Centre on Friday 28 May, in his first regional solo tour with a bunch of classics and a new single.

This once only show is the only performance Freedman will be performing within the Melbourne region on this tour.

The Wyndham Cultural Centre will be brought to life with the music of 'The Whitlams', full of urban tales and stories.

"Come, reminisce, enjoy and relive the 90's," Cr Marcel Mahfoud said. "It's exciting to have Tim Freedman perform in Wyndham."

Freedman's new single is a stand out - 'Man About a Dog'! It's the often told story of taking the boy out of the city and putting him in the country. The song centres around the drive through the country and rolling hills to see a 'Man About a Dog', just as the drought breaks.

Tim will certainly entertain the audience with his performance. Settling in at the piano to tell some stories, reinvent favourites like 'Blow Up the Pokies' and 'No Aphrodisiac' and play a few tracks from The Whitlams' forthcoming album.

This show is not to be missed.
