Council is hosting and information session for anyone interested in becoming a Wild Things Garden Guide volunteer or having their garden 'wilded'.
Bayside Council's Wild Things program is designed to increase Bayside's backyard diversity for birds, plants and other native animals.
Under the scheme trained Wild Things volunteers will help residents design and create their own native wildlife garden.
The program will also offer talks, workshops, events and giveaways to help residents create gardens that support native wildlife.
The Wild Things program is one of several Council programs including, bushcare, street tree planting and bush regeneration designed to help increase biodiversity in the area.
The session will include information on how to become a Garden Guide as well as guidelines for creating a native wild-life friendly garden.
