Wilful Damage Charge At Milton

Detectives from the Counter Terrorism Investigation Group have charged a man following investigations into the alleged distribution of posters displaying racist ideological terminology in Milton.

It will be alleged on 7 February 2025 police received multiple reports regarding the posters, which had been placed on bins and street light poles along Park Road at Milton.

The posters contained content which promoted antisemitism, racist ideology and made use of racially offensive terminology.

Following investigations, detectives arrested and charged a 22-year-old man at a Pimpama residence on Wednesday, March 26.

He has been charged with one count of wilful damage with the aggravating factor of racial vilification.

The man is due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 9.

Investigations are ongoing.
