Police have charged a man following the alleged wilful damage of multiple vehicles in Caboolture on Saturday, February 1.
It is alleged the man slashed the tyres and spray painted around 20 vehicles parked in a carpark on McKean Street early Saturday afternoon, before leaving the scene in a black SUV.
It is further alleged he then returned to the carpark at approximately 5:30pm and damaged several more vehicles, including breaking off windscreen wipers.
The man is alleged to have left the scene again, before he was intercepted by police on McKean Street a short time later and taken into custody.
A 37-year-old man from South Australia has since been charged 24 counts of wilful damage.
He was refused police bail and is due to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court today, February 3.
