Will Tasmanian Greens Back Down Too? 26 November 2024

Tas Labor

The Federal Greens have capitulated and waved through Labor's housing plans which begs the question: will the Tasmanian Greens do the same on 2,000 new homes at UTAS?

Or are they even more destructive than Max Chandler-Mather?

Tasmania is in the middle of an unprecedented housing crisis, and yet the Greens are intent on standing in the way of 2,000 new homes for their own political gain.

It doesn't make any sense.

Labor has been crystal clear that we support safe, secure, well-paid jobs, we support the construction of 2,000 new homes at Sandy Bay, and we support unlocking a state-of-the-art $500 million science and technology facility.

Do the Greens?
