Questions remain about the Government's plan to close vaccine clinics across Tasmania over the Christmas period.
Shadow Health Minister Anita Dow said with booster shots now rolling out across the state and a number of people in the community still unvaccinated, it was key they remained open.
"The government must make sure that there is still adequate access to vaccinations across Tasmania during the Christmas period," Ms Dow said.
"Demand is increasing across the State with booster shots now available and people need to have confidence that they can go and get their jab when they need to.
"The border reopening and new restrictions for the unvaccinated may also have encouraged people to get vaccinated
"Getting vaccinated is the best way to protect you, your family and our community, and it is crucial that people have access to vaccines over the busy summer period."
Ms Dow thanked health workers across the state for their efforts rolling out the vaccine this year.
"The tremendous work ethic and dedication of our community clinic vaccination teams must be acknowledged and, on behalf of Tasmanian Labor, I would like to thank them very much for their ongoing efforts to keep Tasmania safe."
