Willoughby City Council Welcomes Four New Councillors

Willoughby City Council has welcomed four newly elected Councillors after results from the 2024 Local Government elections were formally declared.

In the Middle Harbour Ward, newly elected Kristina Dodds will join returning Councillors Robert Samuel and Angelo Rozos, in the Sailors Bay Ward, newly Sarah Royds will join returning Councillors Roy McCullagh and John Moratelli and in the West Ward, newly elected Michelle Chuang and Andrew Nelson will join returning Councillor Craig Campbell.

There were no changes to representation of the Naremburn Ward as Councillors Anna Greco, Georgie Roussac and Nic Wright all return for another term of Council.

News of the newly elected Councillors closely follows the NSW Electoral Commission's formal declaration of the re-election of Mayor Tanya Taylor.

"A warm welcome to our newly elected Councillors and my congratulations to those returning for another term of Council," said Mayor Taylor.

"I'm thrilled and excited for the recommencement of Council and to get back to work for our community with my dedicated returning colleagues and four new Councillors whom I'm certain will bring fresh energy, enthusiasm and ideas to help serve the community in the Willoughby Local Government Area."

"I would also like to extend Council's gratitude to the previous councillors Hugh Eriksson, Sarkis Mouradian, Brendon Zhu and Jam Xia for their dedicated service and invaluable contributions to our community."

The first General Meeting for the new term of Council will take place on Monday, 28 October at 7.00pm.
