Cessnock City Council is giving away a selection of incredible Hunter Valley wine and beer experiences as part of this month's Support Local campaign, to celebrate the vibrant beer, wine and spirit businesses that make the Hunter Valley a renowned destination.
Prizes include:
- A $250 'Winemaker for the Day' Experience for two at McCaffrey's Estate
- A wine Cocktail Tasting Experience for four at Saltire Estate, valued at $100
- A Guided Beer Tasting for two at the Valley Brewhouse, valued at $78.
Cessnock City Mayor Dan Watton emphasised the importance of supporting local producers, and the immense impact they have on the region.
"Our region's thriving wine, beer, and liquor industry is globally recognised, thanks to the passion and dedication of those behind the operations of our local breweries, vineyards, and venues," said Mr Watton.
"This competition is a fantastic opportunity to get behind local producers and their ongoing dedication and effort."
Residents are encouraged to give a 25-word shoutout on Facebook to their favourite Hunter Valley wine, beer, spirit or liquor, including a photo of the bottle and tagging the business and Cessnock City Council's Facebook page. Remember to use the hashtag #supportlocalcessnock for your chance to win!
The competition runs from 1 October to 31 October 2024. Winners will be announced in early November via Advance Greater Cessnock's social media channels. Participants are allowed an unlimited number of entries.
The winners will be selected at random. Terms and conditions apply. For more information, visit the Advance Greater Cessnock website here.
