Windsor Suspicious Fires Under Victoria Police Probe

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating three suspicious fires in Windsor last night.

It is believed an unknown offender has set fire to items against the side of a premises on Peel Street shortly after 9pm, on Wednesday, 12 June.

The fire caused significant damage to the premises.

No one was inside the premises at the time.

Emergency services were called to a second incident a few houses away on Peel Street for a bin fire.

On the third occasion officers were called to a car fire on Albert Street around the same time.

The Land Rover utility was parked on the street when it was set alight.

A crime scene has been established at all three scenes.

The investigation into the incidents remain ongoing but officers believe the three incidents are linked.
