Perth's winter season will once again dazzle as the internationally renowned Lightscape returns to the iconic Kings Park and Botanic Garden.
As the event's major partner, the City of Perth is thrilled to support this global phenomenon, which will transform the park into a breathtaking wonderland of light, colour and sound.
This year's Lightscape will take place Friday 13 June – Sunday 27 July and invites ticket holders to embark on a magical 1.8km trail through the illuminated nightscape of the Western Australian Botanic Garden in Kings Park. The stunning displays will immerse visitors in a fusion of light and sound, offering an enchanting experience for all ages.
Celebrating Western Australia's unique flora and fauna, the six-week event will feature spectacular illuminated installations that showcase the beauty of the state's natural environment. With an exciting new community art project from Perth school children brought to light, this year's Lightscape promises installations with a distinct WA twist.
At a City of Perth Council meeting earlier this week, a funding allocation of $165,000 was approved to support the event.
Lightscape is presented and funded by Sony Music Entertainment Australia and the State Government Authority the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority, delivering a world-class event that promises to make winter nights sparkle in the City of Light.
