Wintry Conditions Can't Stop Fun At Run Goulburn Run

NSW Gov

Just over 100 runners and walkers braved the blustery cold weather as part of the annual Run Goulburn Run fundraiser fun run in July.

With 1.5km, 5km and 10km distances to choose from, runners and walkers started off from Marsden Weir along a course along the Wollondilly Riverwalk.

The event is organised by BDCU Goulburn Hospital Fundraising Inc, with all proceeds going towards purchasing vital equipment for the Goulburn Base Hospital.

Together with a grant from BDCU, the fundraiser proceeds have gone towards the purchase of an Avia Tono-Pen Applanation Tonometer for the Emergency Department.

The new tonometer allows staff to accurately measure the pressure inside the eye.

Thank you to the BDCU Goulburn Hospital Fundraising Inc committee, sponsors, participants, spectators and volunteers who braved the wintry and windy conditions.
