The Wollondilly Walking Track Extension Project is now complete. The project received $2,250,00 through the jointly funded Australian and NSW Governments Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund, along with $457,618 from Goulburn Mulwaree Council, to deliver an additional 2.7km of walking and cycling track for Goulburn's community.
"The project connects existing cycling and pedestrian routes along the Wollondilly and Mulwaree Rivers, providing a safe and inclusive pathway that promotes recreational opportunities for the community. It also offers access to various green spaces, including the recently upgraded Copford Reach." said Goulburn Mulwaree Council Chief Executive officer, Aaron Johansson.
The completion of the Wollondilly Walking Track provides an exciting opportunity for residents and visitors, improving local mobility and contributing to the long-term resilience of our community.
