WA Police are appealing for vision and any information regarding an assault that occurred in Yokine this morning, 31 December 2021.
Between 12.30am and 1am, a man entered a residence via unknown means. He assaulted an occupant of the home, a woman in her 20s. The woman managed to flee the house and the offender fled on foot.
The man is described as a dark-skinned, with a slim build, shoulder length dark curly hair (ringlets) and was wearing only shorts.
Investigators are urging anyone with CCTV or dash-cam vision of the area of Collins Street and bordered by Wellington Parade, Swanston Street, Latrobe Street and Flinders Street, between 12.05am and 2am to come forward.
