Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged as woman following a fatal hit-run in Oakleigh on 14 December 2017, Victoria Police say.
The incident occurred on Ferntree Gully Road near Huntingdale Road just after 1.30pm.
A 77-year-old Mount Waverly man died as a result from the collision.
The 32-year-old Clayton woman has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, fail to stop after accident, fail to render assistance after accident, drive whilst licence suspended, driver in manner dangerous and careless driving.
She has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 18 May.
