Woman Charged for Offensive Graffiti in Hornsby

A woman will face court today after offensive graffiti was found at two locations in Sydney over the last month.

On Monday 20 January 2025, police attached to Kuring Gai Police Area Command commenced an investigation after malicious damage in the form of graffiti was found inside toilets at a shopping centre on the Pacific Highway, Hornsby.

About 7pm yesterday (Saturday 15 February 2025), police at a stadium on O'Connell Street, Parramatta, were alerted after offensive graffiti was found inside toilets at the venue.

Following inquiries, police arrested a 53-year-old woman inside the stadium.

She was taken to Parramatta Police Station, where she was charged with nine counts of destroy or damage property.

She was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Sunday 16 February 2025).
