Woman Charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving

Police have charged a woman in connection to a fatal crash near Copping yesterday.

Around 9.20am emergency services responded to a crash between a white MG and a silver Camry on the Arthur Highway near Copping.

The passenger of the White MG SUV sadly died at the scene.

As a result of investigations conducted by Southern Crash Investigations Services with the assistance of first responders and members of Bellerive CIB, today the 26-year-old woman who was driving the Camry was charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving and other traffic offences.

The woman will appear before an after-hours session of the Hobart Magistrates Court this evening.
