A woman has been charged with alleged domestic violence offences following a fire in the state's south.
About 1.35am today (Tuesday 1 October 2024), emergency services were called to a unit on Paul Circuit, Tullimbar, following reports of a fire.
Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the blaze; however, the unit was significantly damaged.
Following inquiries, a 43-year-old woman was arrested at Lake Illawarra Police Station about 3am.
She was charged with damage property by fire/exp more than $15000 (domestic), stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic) and contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (domestic).
She was refused bail to appear in Wollongong Local Court today (Tuesday 1 October 2024).
