Woman charged with drink driving with three children in car in Sutherland

A woman has been charged with mid-range PCA after being stopped by police with three children in car in Sydney’s south.

Just after 5pm today, officers attached to Sutherland Local Area Command stopped a Holden Barina on Adelong Street, Sutherland.

Police spoke to the driver, a 40-year-old woman, and conducted a roadside breath test which returned a positive result.

The woman was arrested and taken to Sutherland Police Station where she was issued a Field Court Attended Notice for mid-range PCA.

She will appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday 2 February 2017.

The woman had three children, aged 13, 10 and five, in the car at the time.

Family and Community Services have been notified.
