Woman Charged With Intimidation in Cumberland

A woman has been charged following an alleged intimidation incident in Granville last week.

About 2.55pm on Wednesday 18 December 2024, police attached to Cumberland Police Area Command commenced an investigation following reports a woman allegedly drove her vehicle at a man, narrowly missing him, on Hutchinson Street.

The man was not injured.

Following enquiries, about 5.45pm on Sunday 22 December 2024, a 39-year-old woman was arrested at a home in Parramatta.

She was taken to Granville Police Station and charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal) and common assault.

She was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Monday 23 December 2024).
