A woman has died after a single-vehicle crash in the state’s north last month, NSW Police say.
Just before 2pm (23 September 2016), emergency services were called to the Tweed Valley Way, Condong, 25km south west of Tweed Heads, following reports of a crash.
A 53-year-old female passenger suffered critical injuries and was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to The Tweed Hospital.
The driver, a 33-year-old woman, was also taken to The Tweed Hospital. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
Officers from Tweed/Byron Local Area Command attended the scene and commenced investigations.
About 7am today, today the female passenger died at Tweed Heads Hospital.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
