Woman Dies In Crash At Revesby

A woman has died in a crash in Sydney's south west this afternoon.

About 3.15pm today (Sunday 11 August 2024) emergency services were called to Nichols Avenue, Revesby, following reports of a concern for welfare.

Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command attended the scene and found a woman, believed to be aged in her 70s, had been struck by a car in a driveway.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the woman at the scene, however she could not be revived.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.

A male driver was arrested at the scene and taken to Bankstown Hospital for mandatory tests.

Inquiries are ongoing.
