A woman missing from Wollongong has been located safe and well.
The 74-year-old was last seen at Figtree, about 8am today (Monday 17 April 2023).
When she could not be found, she was reported missing to officers attached to Wollongong Police District, who commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.
Following inquiries and a public appeal for information, including a geo-target text message, the woman was located in a café in a shopping centre on the Princes Highway, just after midday today (Monday 17 April 2023).
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
