Woman Scoops $2M Win: Help Charities and Travel

A Grantville resident has described the moment she learned of her $2 million TattsLotto win as one she will "treasure forever."

The Western Port woman held one of ten Division One winning entries in TattsLotto Draw 4515, conducted on 26 October 2024, securing a share of the $20 million prize pool.

The woman and her husband were unaware of their win until they received a call from a lotto official confirming the life-changing news.

“I’m so ecstatic!” the winning woman cried.

“I’ve had a TattsLotto ticket each week for decades – where there’s luck, there’s hope.

“TattsLotto has just been part of my life. I’m a realistic person, but I’ve always had the hope and always thought you’ve got to be in something to win it.”

When asked how she might enjoy the prize, the married winner said she and her husband already had a few ideas.

“We’d love to help a couple of charities close to our hearts and, of course, family,” she said.

“We love travelling around Australia – it’s such a massive country. So, this will help us have future travel adventures.

“What a great day!

“You have a terrific job – you’ve knocked me my off my seat!

“This is a golden phone call! I will treasure this call forever!”

The winning entry was purchased at Grantville Newsagency and LPO, Shop 2, 1501 Bass Highway, Grantville.
