Sadly, the body of a woman has been located during the search for missing 83 year old North-West woman Margaret Marshall.
Police received a call from a member of the public following the discovery of a deceased woman in Dial Road, Penguin about 12.30pm.
The woman is yet to be formally identified however it is believed to be Margaret.
Initial investigations suggest there are no suspicious circumstances.
Margaret was last spoken to by family members on Tuesday 16 July, with the matter being reported to police on Wednesday 17 July.
Margaret was driving a silver 2005 Toyota Corolla, and was last seen at West Mooreville around 6pm on Tuesday July 16.
Police including search and rescue personnel and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter yesterday conducted a significant search of the Gawler area, a location where it was believed Margaret had travelled to.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
