The much-anticipated footpath project from Tallwoods to Diamond Beach Road is one step closer to fruition.
Stage one of the project will be 300 metres of pavement between Tallwood's The Boulevarde and Diamond Beach Road will get underway in early January 2025.
MidCoast Council crews are expected to take about a month, weather depending on the first stage and have urged motorists and pedestrians in the area to be patient and obey site directions.
During this time sections of the road will be reduced to one lane with speed restrictions in place.
The project is a part of Council's Capital Works program and funded through the Accelerated Infrastructure Fund – Round 3 and the Get NSW Active 2023/24 programs.
