Supercross fans with an appetite for high-octane events can get their fill of adrenaline when the FIM World Supercross Championship races into Perth this November for a unique double-header event.
Perth has been confirmed as the only Australian destination to host two legs of the global event this year, which will also include events in Canada and Abu Dhabi.
Sanctioned by the Federation Internationale de Motocylisme (FIM), the FIM World Supercross Championship is the pinnacle of global supercross racing.
Supercross consists of exhilarating motorcycle racing on purpose built, in-stadium, dirt tracks offering the ultimate combination of elite motorsport and an incredible live entertainment experience, held in world-class sports stadiums such as Perth's HBF Park.
The two rounds of the Perth leg of the 2024 FIM World Supercross Championship will take place on the weekend of 23-24 November at HBF Park, which will be transformed into an arena of world-class dirt bike racing, featuring some of the world's best riders and is expected to draw thousands of out-of-state fans to watch the action unfold.

As stated by Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti:
"This event is billed as the 'greatest racing spectacle on dirt', so it's only fitting that we host it here in Western Australia, where we have extensive experience in delivering blockbuster, adrenaline-fuelled major events.
"We know that exclusive events inspire fans from out-of-state to travel to Western Australia to enjoy the event, but also to stay longer, explore our city and regions and spend big in our tourism and hospitality businesses, so it's very exciting to be adding yet another exclusive international event to our calendar."

"There's strong support for supercross in WA and this event has the capacity to inspire additional growth in the sport across all levels, from grassroots enthusiasts to professional teams.
