Wounding Charge, Raceview

Ipswich detectives have charged a man following an alleged wounding incident in Raceview yesterday, September 10.

It will be alleged at approximately 7.40am, an altercation occurred between a 29-year-old man and a 30-year-old man at a Raceview Street address, during which the 29-year-old man sustained a laceration to his arm.

The 29-year-old Russell Island man was transported to Ipswich Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 30-year-old Eastern Heights man has been charged with wounding and is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court today, September 11.
