Monash rolls out new interpreter service

Various languages spoken, all saying hello

Council has appointed a new interpreter service for our community.

With more than half of Monash households speaking another language other than English, we are always looking to improve how we communicate with our diverse community.

Residents can access the new service from Wednesday 1 February. New language phone numbers have been established and include the top 10 spoken languages within the City of Monash.

Previous numbers will be redirected until the end of April; however, we encourage residents who require assistance to speak with us in their language to transition to our new phone numbers as soon as possible.

New interpreter language phone lines can be found at our website Interpreter Services | City of Monash from Wednesday 1 February.
