- Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi has teased on its own forums that it will soon be announcing its very first drone, 9to5Google says.
Prior to this year, Xiaomi has been known primarily as a smartphone manufacturer, offering high end performance at budget prices.
The company now has its eyes set on the international market, and in the skies. The company will show off its very first drone on May 25, and teased the event with imagery that leaves little to the imagination.
2016 has already been a really busy year for the Chinese tech company, 9to5Google says. For the first time ever, it launched a product outside China, with the Mi 5 unveiling in Barcelona back in February. Even more recently, it revealed that it will be launching an Android TV box in the U.S. during the opening of Google’s I/O conference this week. What’s more, it will be supporting Google’s Daydream VR technology.
