Yea Goulburn Valley Water Pump Station Gets Flood Upgrade

Yea Flood Gauge .png

As of 16 September 2024, the river height gauge at Yea Goulburn Valley Water Pump Station will have flood class levels. The flood class levels will provide the community with a better understanding of flood severity, and are defined by whether the local impacts are minor, moderate or major.

The community will now be able to access data from this gauge on the Bureau of Meteorology website and see the current height in metres as well as the new severity. This upgrade will also allow residents in the area to receive area specific warnings via the VicEmergency app.
