You can have your say On Changes To NDIS

The government is proposing changes to the NDIS through the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Getting the NDIS Back on Track No. 1) Bill 2024.

Since the NDIS Amendment Bill was introduced, PWDA have been calling on the government to not pass the Bill in its current form. You can read our statement and joint letter asking Senators to listen to our concerns and not pass the Bill without changes.

The good news is that the Senate has not yet passed the Bill. Instead, on 27 June 2024, they sent it to the Community Affairs Legislation Committee for further review and inquiry. As part of the Committee's inquiry, they are now asking for feedback on the proposed changes within the Bill. We want to hear your views on the Bill and proposed changes.

Your feedback will help shape People with Disability Australia's (PWDA) response to the Bill and submission to the Committee's inquiry.
