You can have your say On Fun Bus Mobile Playgroup

Darwin City Council

City of Darwin is calling on parents, carers and friends of the Fun Bus mobile playgroup program to provide their feedback on the service.

Input received will provide valuable insights to help shape the program, ensuring it best meets the needs of attendees.

City of Darwin Chief Executive Officer, Simone Saunders, encouraged anyone who had attended the Fun Bus to have their say.

"We are incredibly proud of the Fun Bus mobile playgroup which has been running for over 35 years and is a fantastic resource for the community," Ms Saunders said.

"Input received through the survey will ensure we continue to provide the best services and experiences possible to meet the expectations of young participants and families," she said.

The Fun Bus is a free accessible mobile playgroup that provides play-based activities for children under five and their parents and carers.

Operating from outdoor parks during the dry season and City of Darwin's community centres in the wet season, the Fun Bus provides an educational program which is stimulating, engaging, developmentally appropriate and enhances children's learning and development.

The Fun Bus is run by City of Darwin in conjunction with the Northern Territory Government.

The Fun Bus survey is open until Friday 9 May 2025. To have your say visit engage.darwin.nt.gov.au/fun-bus-survey
