Residents are invited to Meet the Mayor in Bunyip Ward this week.
Cardinia Shire Mayor Cr Jack Kowarzik and Bunyip Ward Councillor and Deputy Mayor Cr Alanna Pomeroy will be at a number of locations to chat with residents on Wednesday 18 December.
Mayor Kowarzik said the Meet the Mayor sessions were a great opportunity for community members to raise matters that are important to them.
"We invite residents of Bunyip Ward to come down for a chat, to ask a question or even just to say hello," Mayor Kowarzik said.
"Being able to get out and about into the community and connect with residents is one of the highlights of being Mayor, so I encourage as many people as possible to drop in and speak with us."
The next Meet the Mayor session will be held:
Wednesday 18 December
- 11–11:45am – Biddy Martha's Café, 11 Main Street, Bunyip.
- 12–12:45pm – Brewsters Foodstore and Café 81–83 Main Street, Garfield.
- 1–1:45pm – The Goon Eatery, Main Street, Nar Nar Goon.
Additional Meet the Mayor sessions will be held across the shire in 2025.
