Young Changemakers Sought for 2025 Moira Youth Council

If you're between 16 and 24 and passionate about making a real impact, now's the time to step up and lead the way in the community as applications for the 2025 Moira Shire Youth Council are officially open.

Designed to empower the next generation of leaders, the Moira Shire Youth Council will provide aspiring young people the tools, training and support they need to develop their leadership skills and actively contribute to the shire's future.

Youth Council members will have the chance to participate in leadership development workshops, engage in exciting community projects, and even represent the young people of Moira Shire at Scheduled Council Meetings and events.

Moira Shire Council Chair Administrator Dr Graeme Emonson PSM said no matter if they were a student, apprentice, or young professional, the Youth Council would offer an exciting platform to voice ideas and drive real change.

"This program embraces diversity, and we strongly encourage young people from all walks of life to apply. This is your chance to develop valuable skills, build lifelong connections, and gain a deeper understanding of local government."
