The Young Entrepreneur Summit (YES!) is set to inspire the next generation of innovators on 13 February 2025 at the Dalby Event Centre.
Now in its third year, the event is back by popular demand, giving students a chance to highlight their entrepreneurial creativity by looking at real life issues facing the Western Downs and spending the day problem-solving.
This fun interactive day will feature DJs and prizes to engage the students and create an energic atmosphere.
The summit will welcome up to 250 students from across Western Downs schools with up to 25 free tickets allocated to each participating school.
Western Downs Regional Council Mayor Andrew Smith said Council was committed to investing in the region's youth and equipping them with tools to pursue their aspirations.
"The Young Entrepreneur Summit is a fantastic opportunity for Western Downs students to gain real world insights, develop innovative thinking and build confidence," Mayor Smith said.
"By investing in their growth today, we're helping shape the future leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
"Western Downs Regional Council proudly funds 250 'YES!' tickets, ensuring students participate in workshops and gain access to memorable keynote speakers.
"YES! provides an excellent opportunity for students to learn from and connect with successful local business leaders, and innovators."
