Your Library: 2023 is year of book club

Wagga Wagga City Library is excited to announce its new book club program kicking off in early 2023, and invites book lovers to come along to a free information session on 15 September from 5:30pm.

Acting Library Services Manager Christine Bolton said library staff are busy preparing more than two hundred book club tubs with a variety of titles.

"Whether you are a lover of contemporary fiction and thrillers, or tend to lean more towards literary and science fiction – we have something for everyone," Ms Bolton said.

"At the information session, community members can expect a preview of our book lists and will hear about how the book club program for 2023 will run including costs.

"We will be encouraging book club members to suggest their favorite authors and titles to be considered for inclusion in the book club collection.

"If you are already a member of an existing book club or looking to start your own book club, we invite you to come along and meet fellow enthusiasts."

Comprehensive details on memberships and borrowing processes will be provided on the night, as well as information on how your book club can receive deliveries via the Agile Library service to suburbs and villages across the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area.

To book your free tickets, visit the 'What's On' page at waggalibrary.com.au, phone 6926 9700, or talk to the friendly library staff on your next visit.
