Council recently received an event application from Yours and Owls for their event on the 1 and 2 March 2025, to be held at Flagstaff Hill, Wollongong.
We've reviewed the documentation that Yours & Owls have submitted to-date, and are pleased to update the community that Council has given in-principle support for the event to go ahead at this location.
The next steps will be for Yours and Owls to engage with relevant stakeholders and to provide Council with additional detail in requested areas for full approval to be granted. This will ensure there are strong measures in place to manage sound, traffic, public safety and to protect the heritage items in this location.
We're committed to supporting live music events in our city. We know many in our community love a good live music event - and we're thrilled Yours and Owls are bringing their iconic Festival back to the Wollongong foreshore in 2025.
