Hobsons Bay's biggest event for young people, Youth-Con 24, is coming to Laverton this weekend.
Filled with live music, activities and food, Youth-Con 24 is a day of free events tailor-made for people aged 12 to 25. It is a major event of the month-long Youth Fest throughout September. The Youth-Con 24 line-up includes:
- live bands and performances
- youth makers market, and pre-loved and vintage market
- skate workshops by Victorian Skate Association
- community stalls offering valuable information and resources
- ·outdoor games, a barbecue and food trucks
- youth art activation, and
- beauty bar, airbrush tattoos and photo booth.
Youth-Con 24 will be on at Laverton Community Hall on Saturday 7 September between midday and 5pm.
Young people can express their interest in selling their wares at the markets, or register to attend Youth-Con 24.
