Young people in the Snowy Monaro are set to see more funding for community events, helping our region's youth connect this Youth Week.
In March 2021 the NSW State Government announced $335,000 in funds to support events in communities across the state, with a share allocated to Snowy Monaro Regional Council.
"The Youth Week initiative has been hugely successful in past years in the Snowy Monaro, and the additional funds will ensure this year's events are better than ever," said Mayor Peter Beer, Snowy Monaro Regional Council.
